  • Chemical: too much glucose, fats, toxins, alcohol
  • Organic: harmed cells
  • Mental: excessive excitement

 

Infectious factors/Internal variables

  • Microorganisms
  • Viruses (colds or flu can result in inflammation, in the sinuses, ears, nose and throat)
  • Post viral (Xiao Yang pattern TCM, the virus remains such as Shingles)
  • Microorganisms (Candida overgrowth, Damp and Stagnation pattern TCM)

 

Common treatment methods

Based upon the type of Bone Bi inducing the joint pain, the TCM treatment strategy will likely involve a combination of:

  • Acupuncture
  • Electro-acupuncture
  • Scraping
  • Moxa (Moxibustion)
  • Cupping
  • Organic Medicine
  • Massage therapy

The final thought is, as a result, that these may well match medical treatment for arthritis, with psychological and functional advantages at least over the short-term. More study is needed to clarify their period of benefit and mode of action.
